We are getting married!

I have been keeping quiet about this for a while. I especially saved the announcement for Valentine’s Day. Of course, we are both very excited. Our 5th year is the new beginning…

He has made me so happy through all these years, and the time has come for us. I never thought I’d be marrying this early! I am one of the first ones among my friends of the same age. I always think that I can think about this subject some day, when I’ll be over 30 years old. Sometimes I wonder why people get married at all…

Although the actual marriage had yet manifested, I have felt like I was already married to him for years. Ladies and gentlemen who wish to be married, I think this is the secret uncovered. The key to be or have anything is to already think that you have it, and it can only be on its way to YOU

I believe that the state of coexistence between the couple weighs beyond their marital status. Love is so unconditional that it is not reserved to couples. The ultimate love is alignment of that which is who you really are. Love is as whole and wide as the universe. Therefore, marriage is merely a civilized agreement more than it is about the purity of love.

The bold and italicized sentence sounds confusing, right? I totally thought so when I first heard it from Abraham Hicks. However, the more I read and listen to Abraham, the more I approach clarity.

My favorite part of our relationship is that we allow ourselves to play like 5-year-old children almost all the time. (Most adults are outrageously serious!) We only act like adults when we have to, such as when we go to work and encounter intense and serious grown-ups.

These photos were taken while we were spending our New Years holidays in Koh Lipe, Satun Province, South of Thailand. We truly immersed ourselves in joy. I remembered sitting on the beach one breezy afternoon, attentively listening to my favorite classical reprises by David Garrett and I noticed extended moments of being in the vortex – that is, being connected to the state of my true beings dominated by joy and appreciation. It has been my goal to replicate this good-feeling moment in my daily life.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

Much love,

Suzie
